| 2" FORGED KINGPIN, 25" BOLSTER Buyers King Pins are forged from AISI 8630 steel and heat treated to create and maintain a hardness of 302-363 BHN. The combination of material and process will maintain approximately 150,000 P.S.I. in ultimate strength which will meet or exceed the performance specifications set by SAE. The precise heat treating process allows us to offer all of these king pins at a performance level that maximizes hardness and still maintains impact resistance.
Buyers King Pins are easily weldable due to design and material. The 8630 steel provides for good material weldability, saving time and money in installation and replacement. |
