| 72 GALLON REFUELING TANK - DIESEL OR GAS Transfer Flow's Refueling Tanks Are Legal to Carry Gas, Diesel, and Other Fuels
Our refueling tanks have been granted Special Permit E-191 from the Department of Transportation (D.O.T.), as well as Los Angeles, California Fire Department Approval Number 1-04-01. They are available for the storage of gas, diesel, ethanol, methanol, and kerosene. We offer the following style of refueling tanks:
Standard Refueling Tanks — Meets DOT regulations! Transfer Flow manufactures refueling tanks in 50, 72, and 100 gallons. They're manufactured from 12-gauge aluminized steel for superior rust resistance and strength and are baffled to prevent fuel sloshing. Each tank has two, 1 1/2" FPT openings to allow for a refueling pump and for filling the tank with fuel. The tanks are powder coated black for a durable finish. There is a notched recessed portion on the top and sides of each tank. New D.O.T. regulations require a refueling pump not to exceed the height of a tank. If the pump sits above the top of the tank, the tank will not meet D.O.T. specifications. Refueling pumps, fuel filter, and meters are sold separately, and are available from Transfer Flow. Comes with Transfer Flow's 3 year warranty. For dimensions of our refueling tanks, press here.
Toolbox and Refueling Tank Combos — Meets DOT regulations! Transfer Flow, Inc. has introduced 30-gallon and 50-gallon toolbox and refueling tank combos - great for manually filling your fuel tank as well as filling other vehicles or equipment. The 30-gallon unit will fit short and long bed pickups, while the 50-gallon unit will fit long bed pickups only. The toolbox and refueling tank combos come pre-assembled with a 12-volt pump located inside the locking storage compartment. The fuel nozzle is mounted on the outside of the toolbox, and comes with an 8-foot hose. The storage compartment of the 30-gallon unit has about 4 1/2 cubic feet of space, while the 50-gallon unit has a storage area of about 8 cubic feet.
